SEPTEMBER 13TH MARKET REPORT

We had a good run Monday, Cows were little softer 2-4 lower, bulls were steady on the calf side of things the calves were steady but the feeders we 2-4 lower mainly from the fire at JBS over the weekend. It has feed yards little on edge after the Holcomb fire and what it did to the markets. We are coming into October and it being famous for "dead calf month" it pays to wean your calves. The market for unweaned cattle will be sharply lower coming up in October. Give us a call if you would like us to come look at your cattle.
